Re: We need help with Translation
Just a small status report: I've done most of the strings, only "Messages" are missing from the Hungarian translation. I'll complete as soon as I can.batagy wrote:I might do the translation in this weekend.

I'm starting to translate into Portuguese right now.
If somebody has already begun, please tell me.

I use the latest Ultimate version with Mozilla rendering engine by default.

Re: We need help with Translation
Italian translation done (PM to Anderson).
For all people who wants to start the translation I suggest to use IniTransl, a freeware editor for ini file that load english master, load a new langauge (o create a new from scrtach), and show both english and localized string.
Also you can use it to load a new english master language, a old version of localized file and check which string should be added.
This sw save a lot of your time (and it's freeware).

Re: We need help with Translation
Finally, Hungarian translation updated!
Sent to Anderson!
Sent to Anderson!
First of all I have a request for Anderson.
Could you move this post form "Beta" section to official program section ?
The language development is now also for official program and if a new translator sercah info about 11.0.x version and multilanguage UI didn't find anythings about it.
Other big improvement is to suggest to all new translator the use of IniTranslator (please check my post before).
This is a free utility that show the master english language file and your new language file. Also it's a qonderfull utility to see untranslated text strings when you have a new language version and you want to check which text strings are untranslated (instead to start a file compare or a new language development).
This free sw save a lot of translator time.
In the past you have AbLang but now Ablang cannot work with AB 11,.x and Intranslator it's more powerfull and AB version independent.
@Anderson
As I wrote in the message the current italian translation it's more or less the same of previous version without (or with a few changes). I explained that this translation contains many wrong terms for italian menaning (the sw in Italy use different terms than the terms used in this translation).
I'm work for Canon Italy as Hq sw engineer and I revised completly the translation checking with Ms Glossary (that is the official reference for all italian sw developer) the terms use and i created the new UI.
Please verify with the current translator the consistency of my translation and current one.
AB it's a wonderful program but if it's UI for italin user is unclear they think that it's not so usable.
The current italian file it's available in:
http://rapidshare.de/files/35187613/ita ... 3.zip.html
Please check with your translator the opportunity to replace current version with mine.

Soory if I disturb you but what do you to create a specific topic category: Avant Browser Translation accessible from forum main page ?
Translations are most import than program.
As I spoke many times please highlight the importance of some programs Like Initranslator that can help you volountais to create a new translation (or update an existing one) to save a lot of time to check the original english meaning, and which text strings are untranslated.
before to use IniTranslator I spebnt a lot of time to check the difference between AB 10.x and 11.x translation (before to start a new one).
Also I'm waiting an answer about my italian translation (proof cjeck and complete) than the original (current). I post a PM message to Anderson too (about it).
Thanks.

Re: We need help with Translation
Hey, it seem like the finnish -language is not full in the 11 version.
I can still see the Autofill, Bookmarks, and some other things, such as the note for logging automatically in to a site, that's still english.
Actually I don't care, since I am great in English (or atleast good).
But still it's annoying.
Fix it...
Thank you.
Avant browser kicks IE, Firefox and Netescape:s ****.
It's allot faster...
I'll use AVANT only. The difference is clear.

There is no Finish translation for AB 11.0, the you are using is from 10.2.
MysteryFCM wrote:Unfortunately, that also means the language file will be out-dated as 11.x includes extra menu items and options that need to be translated.
No one made the Finish translation so far, so you have to do it by your own.P37R1X wrote:Fix it...

Please. Thankyou. Gracias.

Using Initranslator (check previous post) open master eng.lng file open the old version of finnish translation; now you can check the untranslated text string and you can edit it into finnish (of course you can edit the already translated strings).ADukes wrote:There is no Finish translation for AB 11.0, the you are using is from 10.2.MysteryFCM wrote:Unfortunately, that also means the language file will be out-dated as 11.x includes extra menu items and options that need to be translated. No one made the Finish translation so far, so you have to do it by your own.P37R1X wrote:Fix it...
After that save the finnish lang file and you have the translation for AB 11,x (without starting a new on from scratch=save a lot of time)
