[INFO] Avant Browser Help Files
Posted: Wed Sep 22, 2004 12:36 am
For those that can't reach the online help, please feel free to download a copy of the compiled CHM (526K).
As of 24-09-2004, the Avant Browser online documentation, is now mirrored at the Avant Browser Archive
Update - 01/09/2006
Please note, for the most part, the current help files will only PARTIALLY apply to the new 11.x series. Plans are in the pipeline to get the help files updated to allow for the 11.x series.

Hmm... online Help not working.
Good thing I didn't need any help, huh?

Maybe a section should be added to Help that tells how to get to Help.
And a section that tells how to get to that section.

Perhaps keeping the help files for a browser online isn't the most logical idea...

Heh! Good point, Sergei. What would happen if your Avant Browser wasn't working properly. You wouldn't be able to access the online help. Hopefully, you'd have enough working brain cells to use another browser, like IE.

Just a note, the online help files have been updated (sent a PM to Anderson with the updated files). The offline documentation (CHM) will be updated once the updates have been finalised (e.g. when we're sure there's nothing more to add).

With all of the new builds recently, has come new features to Avant. This obviously requires some changes to the help file. However, before this is done, I would very much like input on what YOU would like to see added.
If you feel there is something missing from the help files, please leave a note here with details on what you think should be added.
