First of all, check your version of Media Player.

Second, check your Internet Explorer settings to make sure you've enabled multimedia in there :wink:

They both seem to want you to download the same component from Microsoft. I'm not going to as I don't know what it is, but I hope it's just a codec. As I'm not allowing this I can't see the video. Are you allowing it?

Does it work in IE?

Working just fine here........ and yes, it wants to download a codec.

You can save the ASX file itself (the streaming video) to your hard drive by right clicking the following and selecting "Save Target As"

http://www.go01.com/live/cctv.asx

Edit

Should have mentioned;

1. Unless you can understand Cantonese/Manderin...... the video will probably not make sense to you anyway :wink:

2. Video plays just fine (from the website and direct access via the link above), running on;

AMD Athlon 700
256MB Ram
IE 5.5
AB 9.02.021

Media Player v6.4

The following codec will be downloaded when accessing the video;

ID: {33564D57-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71}
URL: http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... mv9VCM.CAB

Have you checked to make sure Media Player has access to the internet?

That would normally indicate that you've got the multimedia options disabled in IE or AB, but as you've already tried those, I am a little baffled I'm afraid.

Uninstall Real Player.

I also set my IE security settings back to default, but I didn't do these two things independently, so I don't know if that mattered.
