Uh oh. Orca won't save cookies anymore!

Post by AlvinPing » Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:28 pm

I don't know what happened. I already tried clearing all records, including cookies. All values related to cookies under about:config are set to their defaults. Something must have gotten corrupt, as I did encounter a pretty hard browser crash last night (required a hard reboot! ouch) and that's when it started happening.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I ended up deleting the user profile data in AppData and let Orca rebuild it at re-launch. I lost all my settings but cookies work again. Wasn't sure which files in AppData manage cookies specifically, so I just deleted everything

mine turned out not to be a problem with orca but with the forum i was reading, it seems they had changed their webaddress of the forum from www. to forum. and hence when you used your favourites link and logged in it was using the new old www. instead of the new.
