You'll have to say more than that if we're going to be able to help you. What triggers it, what are your system specs, did you follow the instructions in the FAQ? etc...

Did the .png file in the original post render correctly for everyone, or is it that my browser is broken?  I know this is not related to the error message in this thread, but my browser won't render the image file in the original post.

Anyone else with this trouble?

Also, I agree...more info needed, however I'll see if I can find the reference number somewhere

I think maybe he removed the pic. However if you want to see one go here:  http://forum.avantbrowser.com/YaBB.cgi? ... 1046984794 and scroll to the bottom  ::)

Ahh..Jay...yes.  Thanks, but that didn't solve the issue.  I'm more worried about .png images...and clearly, when the post is "posting" it's trying to download something.  The image that you pointed to is a GIF image.  This doesn't belong here so I'm really sorry to the original post guy and I won't write anymore about that here.  It's no big deal...I'm researching it now...but thanks

Bob-I can't see it either, just one of those white boxes with a red x in it.

Good luck!

Sara :)

When I came back the box was gone--and now that I think about it that was the only time I've seen it in that post.  The rest of the time it's just a blank space!

Thanks, Sara50....I was worried because of all of the troubles I had re-installing IE and I was hoping that it wasn't broken.  I did some other research and found out that PNG files are an ongoing difficulty for browsers.  OK...case closed.

Now back to the person who posted originally, I have the bad news that I can't seem to find anything relating to this exact problem.  It sounds like a memory problem but don't quote me on that.

Leon..were you using avant before this and had no problems?  Or is this the first time you have tried?  what version are you using?  Would you install the latest version and see what happens?  Let us know what's up!

Thanks

I have had this problem with ALL versions of Abrowser, including 7.x and the 8.x betas.  However, it only happens if you try to clear recent pages.  If you select the individual clears for different things, all work fine except the recent pages, that one will give the error message.
