*sigh* Again, can we please have the bloody Search facility in the Side Bar replaced with an optional standard button link.. or if not some official justification why it was removed pointlessly in the first place? The Search Bar is naff.

Overall websurfing feels faster again after a bit of a slowdowin in RC2. F6 works to get to the address bar.

This problem is the only thing that really bothers me:

Though it would be nice to have an option to turn off the address bar progress indicator.

Still no rightclick. Anderson, will you communicate with us? I'm offering help with testing for a couple of days here, but you are still producing more haevily buggy RC's. This is serious bug, which does not have to be very complicated to fix.

Anderson has fixed the right-click issue on Vista that he could confirm. It seems to work fine now for most users.
Unfortunately,He can't confirm the 2nd right click issue.
Let's try to diagnose it:
1.Are you trying to run Avant as administrator?
2.Does the IE plugins list under Tools>Avant Browser Options>Add-ons is empty?

no right-click.
vista ultimate 32bit
1. no (tried as admin: no right-click, too)
2. yes (means, that there is nothing activated. the list itself is filled)

if i activate the google toolbar, everything works fine. but i don't want to use the toolbar.

Can you please activate some item that is labeled as "IE Context Menu"?

Vista Ultimate x64, no rightclick.

Running as admin, UAC off.
No plugins activated.

No rightclick even if IE Context menu activated.

Popup blocker fails to block certain popups. I repeatedly added popup addresses, but no use. This has been the issue remained unresolved.

Thank you

i have activated all items labeled with 'context menu' but it still doesn't work. the only way seems to be the google toolbar at the moment.

The popup and ad blocker is still not all that usefull. Doesn't block the things even if you manaully tell it to.

Also you can no longer use Tab to switch between the search and address line.

i'm running vista ultimate 32 bit. the running protection programs are kaspersky antivirus 6.x, the windows firewall and the defender.
for blocking ads i use ad muncher, but i've already tried to deactivate the muncher without effect.
