The few I've noticed...
  • Can import profile items
  • Search removed fromt he sidebar... I'm not sure why
  • Icon to open sidebar in lower left of Status bar
  • Zoom factor in Status bar
  • System buttons attached to tab bar
  • Uses own context menu. IE's menu items can be activated in Add-ons options
  • Button added to end of each Bookmark/AutoFill entry to open in new tab
  • Skin now accepts PNG images
  • For me, interface is much faster
There might be more, but that's what I can remember from what we've noticed so far.

I didn't mean to make you feel bad

I just thought it was funny that "some more features" was an answer to the question that was basically "What are the new features."

Actually, now you look really silly because the rest of your post is gone... ;)

I'm one that has never had issues with either, so I wouldn't be one to ask.

The icons are simply the best Anderson has come out since the beginning... I was wishing for a Vista-like skin but the more I use Crystal the more I like it. The Stop button is the only I don't really like, I'd use an "X" in the same style, not some sort of a stop sign but with an "x" inside like it is now.

Other than the fact that it will not close without using the Task Manager and no user-made skins..........I think it's great.

that means – beeing very honest and to bring it to a point:
NOTHING really new, no new function – perhaps even steps back (again)? …

sorry, but that is my feeling (similar to the situation, when AB 11.0 was released.....)

I strongly disagree with your opinion.
Can't see at least 1 reason why Avant Browser 11.x is a 'Step back'.
I really like the online storage feature,Built-in Autofill,IE toolbars support (Not all,But a lot of useful toolbars are now supported),script buttons & even some minor features like lock a tab & underline for unread tabs.

I wouldn't say it's a step backward, but I do feel there are certain features which would really improve Avant and they haven't appeared (yet). I would really like to be able to control page zoom with keyboard shortcuts. This is easily done in Maxthon 2.0 (beta) by using <ctrl> + to increase & <ctrl> - to decrease zoom. This makes the zooming function very usable. Having to use the mouse to change zoom makes the feature useless. I would like short-cut keys to open/close the favorites bar. Maxthon 2.0 also has the ability to detach a tab. I find this nifty as I sometimes stream AOL Radio or XM Radio and prefer to detach the tab to get it out of the way. I realize that everyone has preferences and Anderson cannot try to make everyone happy, but it would be nice if Avant developement had a roadmap so we had an idea what the long term goals are. That said, I still like Avant a lot and appreciate that efforts to improve it are ongoing.
