Shouldn't this thread be under the Orca Discussion Section?

"Orca" is a perfect name .... even better without "Browser" and "Dr."
Just "Orca" . It's fine.
There are could not be a problems in registration ..... in a browsers sphere it's a unic name.

cute and pretty , isn't it :) ?!

Aspect would also provide the advantage being early in alphabetical listings, much the same as Avant does.
It could also use the same "A" icon.

As I see it, there's only one problem with this idea - confusion. I use Avant AND Dr. Orca. If they used the same icon, I'd have to actually read!

Just thought to throw in my two cents as well:

Since I changed from mainly using Avant to the Gecko based Orca, I've gotten used to Orca Browser. So whether the name will be changed (back) to "Dr Orca" or "Orca" or remains the unchanged "Orca Browser", I don't really care.

Also those ideas to change Orca Browser to some "A"-something name in order to get a similar Avant-like icon don't sit well with me. In my opinion, Orca is something else entirely because it's based on a different browser engine. This difference should be kept alive - I wouldn't mind a better icon though ;)

Makes you think of Vampire's Browser does it?

Hey Jasmine/Anderson any decision or ideas on this yet? How about a teaser at least.

Well! Hi all!

How about Orqa Browser? (And icon - stylized letter Q)
I don't think that someone is using this name. (Orca is a pretty good name I love it, so maybe we just play with the name and try to save at least pronuncation?) :D

ive been using orca as my main default browser since rc3 was first released
so i would not like it to change now, its been a long time, ive got used to Orca and the splash screen
its been extremely stable for me, most of the bugs seem minor and livable except for tooltips not showing hovering mouse over things

long live Orca

Since he likes Orcas why doesnt he call it Seawolf. Other possible names could be Blackfish or KW browser.

As far as I know, Anderson has committed to the name Orca. This thread will be locked because of that.
