Great but with only 50 posts, who are you and why should I trust an .exe file that you post?

I guess you can trust it.
All what w4R cR4zY did is just replaced Firefox 1.5 files with 1.5.0.1 .
You're able to do that by yourself but it's still recommended to wait the official update from Anderson.

Yes...
But again,
If you don't trust this patch and can't wait for the official update from Anderson then download Firefox 1.5.01 and just replace all the files in your Orca installation dir.

One word of advise if you plan on doing wat abfan just said, dont replace the xcom.dll files it will stop your browser from working

Don't get me wrong W4R cR4zY, I appreiciate your efforts. I just didn't recognize you as one of the programmers or Moderators and I was just being cautious.

Thanks for stepping up.

These random crashes are really annoying, but, could anyone confirm this patch is safe? Thanks.

Edit: I just found the posts above, so I'll use it tomorrow, but you still could post your opinion / experience here.

what kinda proof would you like, realy all I can give you is my word :\

The patch dosen't get ride of all the crashes, this there is only so much I can do, Anderson has to fix some of them since he created it. All my patch does is helps.

I rather think that coming up with custom patches is kind of contrary to the point of beta-testing!

All this patch basically does is updates orca to Firefox 1.5.0.1, so it actually eliminates many of the Firefox bugs, so you determine which bugs are caused by firefox, and which ones are by orca. I cannot actually patch orca itself since it's not open source.

OK, I tried it, but, as you said... I had 2 crashes today and I use it just from yesterday evening, so I have to wait...

Anyway, w4R cR4zY, thanks for your work, Anderson is busy with Avant 2006 now, so any help with Orca is appreciated.
