Ultimate 2015 Build 1 - Chrome engine not working

I just installed the new Ultimate version. Chrome engine is not working, browser window stays empty. IE (both v11 and compatíble) and Firefox are ok.
To proove, I reinstalled the previous version (2014 build 7), and Chrome works fine.

System is Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit with all available updates.

Anyone out there with the same problem, or is it just me ?

I have the same problem with Ultimate 2015. Build 1. I am unable to reinstall Ultimate 2014,Build 7. If you have any information on reinstalling please let me know. I am using windows 7

I'm using Windows Defender 4.5.218.0, which comes with Win 8.

I've also installed 2015 Ultimate on a Windows 7 machine (Win 7 Enterprise, 32bit, belongs to my employer), and Chrome engine works fine here.

If you run Avant with your anti-virus software disabled temporarily, will the chrome engine work?
Please also try to delete your webkit folder in Avant profiles and then restart Avant.

Turning off Windows Defender has no Impact.

Where do I find my Avant Browser Profile ?

I have deleted the Webkit Folder.
I restarted Avant, the Folder has been rebuilt, but nothing changed.

Hello, I've just installed build 2, but regrettably the Chrome/Webkit engine is still not working.
Please note (as I already telled earlier): For me it seems this is not a general issue, as on a machine with Windows 7 Enterprise, 32bit, the Chrome engine in 2015 build 1 is OK (build 2 too).

Ready for next action.

As I'm now using IE engine (no friend of Firefox, IE is V11 standard), there is another issue:
Flash videos are not loading/playing, video window stays black.
(in native IE11 it's Ok)
This is also true only for my Windows 8.1 64bit system (Surface Pro 3), as on a Windows 7 (32bit) everything is OK.

I confirm it (Avant Browser 2015 b2). Usually my default rendering engine is Firefox and run normally, but if I change it to Chrome page was displayed (not all) and hang up (not complete, because in menu I can go back to Firefox) but push button "Refresh" nothing change.

I will open a new thread for the flash problem, as it also exists with the firefox engine.

Your situation is a little different with them, They got blank page under chrome engine while you got a crash message.Please PM me your Email.

Download this tool and then using the following steps:
1 unzip the tool first

2 Avant use chrome as defaut engine. Start Avant, open a page,wait untill the page shows blank or crashes

3 start spyxx.exe and then go to Tree>Save tree to file.

4 send the file you saved to me.

I am sorry, but I am a novice and don't understand the procedure you have indicated to help resolve my issue. The problem has been experienced by other Avant users when updating to the current version. Google Chrome does not open any web page and a notice pops up occasionally stating Whoa, Google chrome has crashed. If there is any other way to determine the problem, please let me know. Otherwise I will use another browser until Avant is updated again. I have enjoyed Avant for many years and hope the issue can be solved. Thank you
