Unknown german option in menu

Post by schmitz » Wed Apr 30, 2014 12:00 am

Hi,

in the GERMAN AvantBrowser-options, in the StartPage-Menu, down at the bottom there is an option called

"Alle zum verbergen von Avant Browser aktiviren"

Does anybody know what this option is for ?

thanks for an answer

It's "Open all items under [Autofill Startup] on startup". Under Autofill menu, you'll see a folder called Startup. If you put some autofills in this folder and check the option, these autofills will be opened automatically when you launch Avant browser.

Is the translation not correct? If so, could you please give me the correct one?

OK, thank you very much.

The current translation, re-translated to english, sounds like "Activate all to hide the Avantbrowser" ("all" what?)
In german this might be "Öffne alle Auto-Ausfüllen-Startseiten". Sounds a bit better.

BUT, (I had many many tries because wanted to find out what the function is)
if I check this option and restart the Avant, the items in the "start"-Folder from AutoFill will NOT appear.
May because I have checked the "Save all tabs/registers at ending of Avant" ?
They reappear all the time (I need that feature for work, THAT was my reason for choosing avant)
Maybe this options are corresponding....
Maybe I need a VM with an english Avant so that we can better correnspondent :O)

Thanks, Ralf

Hi,
yes, it is ;O)

Sorry, but I had hard work and did not find it out,
maybe because of not working in constellation with the function mentioned above

If you save all opened pages and exit, next time you start Avant, you can check the option on the re-open window:
reopen window.jpg

Tools>Interface luanguage, you can change Avant's luanguage to English (no need to install it in an English system)
