Create New bookmark misadvantage

Post by Skinner62 » Mon May 13, 2013 8:02 am

I am using AB 2013 build 107. When I want to create new bookmark and Right Click on folder in Bookmarks Bar and select Create New Bookmark in This Folder - no action is performed (no dialog for New BookMark). When I create New bookmark from menu Bookmark -> right click on folder and select Create New Bookmark in This Folder then I can create new bookmark. After that I can create new bookmark from Bookmark Bar.

How about your internet speed? Slow Internet speed may cause the failure of setting download from server

no, speed is not problem, it seems it is really proxy issue:
short time ago we in office changed proxy
with new proxy common browsing works, but i found bookmarks do not synchronize, just box about synchronization ends in few seconds (2-3?), no message about failure
when i set old proxy than synchronization took a bit longer time (few seconds more = 1-2?) and it worked well
any ideas? is there any log i can see it failed? (or try to open any webpage to see if it is accessible with the new proxy?)
(it is not in proxy switching itself = switching new-old-new makes no difference, also avant restart has no influence)

No log that you can see.
or try to open any webpage to see if it is accessible with the new proxy?
It's better not to use proxy when you use online storage. You can access webpage with the proxy not means that you can access online storage.
Most of the proxy are not supported when using online storage.

There is no other way. Maybe you can find a proxy that works.

do not need access to any concrete web? (something like ftp.avant.com? data.cloud.net?) synchronizing bookmarks displays no hint
