Cannot open file C/ProgFiles/AvantBrowser/res/logo.jpg

Post by Angelynn » Fri Jul 09, 2010 8:35 am

I get the above message when I try to open Avant Browser. I click OK and sometimes it opens like regular, other times it will not open at all. Does anyone know what happened? I had to use a system restore for another problem not related to Avant when this started occuring. I can't tell what Avant version I have as when I click the button, all that comes up is a blank, pale blue box that has the word "version" in the lower right corner with nothing else there. Any suggestions?

Have you checked if the actual folder and file exist? I recommend re-installing Avant. Overwriting an older version with the current one is not a problem. If you really want to keep the old one then go to the folder where Avant is installed and right click on avant.exe then properties then version to get the version number. Download old builds from the Avant Browser Archive.
