Nice Progress...

This is my first time back to Avant in a while, I just got fed up with Crazy Browser's lack of options. I'm very pleased to see that the IE Privacy Report is now supported. Now if we could just get the IE Security Zone icon supported, Avant would be perfect! (Either that or individual toggle buttons for ActiveX, Java, etc like the existing ones for Pictures, Flash, etc). :)

ad blocker is to strong now. like FilePlanet doesn't show download mirrors. http://www.apple.com/trailer use to show the pics now it does't. A lot more stuff before it was perfect. All bad things were blocked and non-bad things weren't.
Peace out

Personally, with the proliferation of junk on the internet, I'd prefer a blocker that was a little too strong. Especially since it is customizable.

I was just refering to how it was perfect before. Plus I find myself needing to turn it off. So I can use sites now. A news site didn't even show the news. All the news was blocked.

Can you post that news site? I can see the download mirrors at fileplanet & the images at apple with ad blocker on. Sounds like something else may be happening here. I suggest you uninstall & delete the avant browser folder in application data & try doing a fresh install. This tip will help you find the application data folder. Let us know if that helps at all.

Minor point this, but the "powered by Yahoo! search" image in the Search editbox disappears when obscured by another window (ie. it is not re-painted).

I haven't been on the forums for a while until today. I discovered the new beta and tried it and I'm very pleased. Nice work :D

Hey Sara!
Lately I've been seeking employment and spending weekends with my ladyfriend. I need two credits to graduate, so I applied to a waiting list to go to night classes at a local college starting in January to complete the credits.

I've been checking the Avant main page for a while for a new version and decided to check the forums for betas and was pleasantly surprised to find out about version 10.

What about you?
- Wilson
