Isn't anyone else as impatient as I am for the new release? It seems that since the 11th everyone has just given up...

What are we going to do? Keep posting about it? That won't make it come any faster. It's the same thing as beeping your car horn in traffic. It doesn't make the traffic go any faster. If anything, it will just **** people off and they will go slower.

Well, I'm sure everyone else is like me.. I've probably checked this forum more in the last 10 days than I have in the last 6 month!!!
Just have to keep checking back (every few waking hours!)... but we all know it'll certainly be worth the wait, regards of how long it is.

I hope so. I'm starting to really like IE7 since the beta is very fast, solid and feature packed.

Whatever Mr. Anderson is doing I hope it's great. Let's see whatcha got Neo... I mean Mr. Anderson

From Anderson in the other forum thread:
Very sorry guys!

In this version I plan to let users save their bookmarks etc data on line, so you guys could access your browser data anywhere.

Since we have so many users, I order 4 servers to store data. But unforturnately, one of server always has problems. I am waiting for the provider exchange a server for me.

I have worked on this server for 10 days. But it turn out I wasted my time.

Very sorry for making you guys wait.

Actually Maxthon 2, even though it's not even a beta, runs circles around IE7. In my mind, Maxthon 2 is the one Anderson needs to makes sure he beats with AB 2006.

LOL Do you even test Maxthon 2. It's very slow and doesn't even have as much features as IE7. Maybe just maybe in the later testing it might get better.

You're wrong about it being better than IE7. You're right about it running in circles 'cause right now it's going nowhere. The only features I see it has different than IE is the tab split and sidebars(Which I've created some plugins for Maxthon). IE still dominates it by far.

We are obviously looking for different things in browsers.

To each his own I guess.

Live long and prosper with IE7.

That is all.

OK?

I recently checkout the new M2. It's seems to be making way. Not enough features to make some one leave Avant, IE, Firefox or Maxthon 1.5.6, but it's finding it's way.

I know Avant 11 has to be great. The last updates in 10 made me feel better about the next release. Only time will tell..
