I still have to "restore down" then "maximize" Avant in order to get it to display over my whole screen. It doesn't when I first open Avant. This is the case now and has been since the alphas. When I'm running build 168, no problems.

which style do you use? Do you have problems with both compact and normal style?

do you use any 3rd party themes software? Or, which theme do you use?

Anderson, in normal view it occurs as described above. In compact view, Avant does not show the title bar nor menu bar. I see the desktop at the top, just like at the bottom of my screen. And yes I use StyleXP. Again, no problems with build 168 or any previous.

Here's a link

Notice my windows taskbar (at the top) and my desktop wallpaper (at the bottom) are showing. This is the same even if I move the taskbar to the bottom

I might add that when I maximize Avant (in compact view), it's topmost bar (title/menu) covers my windows task bar (because I keep it across the top of my screen.

I see you fixed the home button, that menu doesn't come down anymore.

The next & previous button icons are also corrected.

Very nice :D

FavIcons still always requested through IE proxy settings, instead of using AB Proxy setting (as is the case with all other requests made by AB).

Why ?????

I like this change but could you clarify something? When I hold down right and click middle I get the close; where does the refresh occur?

That's actually pretty hard if it set to close tab on middle mouse button but possible
Put your mouse cursor to the tab
Right click (hold)
Then hold the middle mouse button (without releasing the right mouse button)
Then move the mouse to some other location and release 2 buttons

Compact View is still on by default. Can Normal view please be on by default?

Thanks abfan123, I also didn't realise there was a choice in Mouse Buttons options to set it to refresh although I wouldn't use that option.

A minor problem but I can't set the last Mouse Gesture to NONE, it always reverts to Close.

The votes so far are overwhelmingly against it being on by default.

What is the story with the new close buttons on the top right?
