Hi for the moment do you use avant and orca in the same computer?

Please provide the following information before reporting problems:
Avant Version; System(also point out it is a 32 or 64-bit OS);IE; Memory Size; CPU Speed;
Optional: Firewall; Graphics Card

For the problems hard to replay, could you add me into your MSN or Skype list if you use either of them? The advantage is that you can let us know the situation in the first place by making some screenshots, sharing your screen or explaining the specific problems more clearly when they happen.

8. Integrate Chrome's render engine.
So Avant 2011 will be a direct competitor to Lunascape browser and Maxthon browser.
Nothing like a bit of healthy competition to make things Interesting but Lunascape uses Apples's Webkit engine which I think I used for Safari so technically It's got nothing to do with Google Chrome's engine.

You need to consider two different aspects:

One aspect of the browser is rendering engine (to display the webpages). One of Lunascape's three rendering engines is WebKit, and you are correct which is also used by Safari. WebKit is also the rendering engine for Google Chrome, so they are related.

The other browser aspect is Javascript engine (to run Javascript code). Lunascape and Safari use WebKit's Javascript engine, which is called Nitro. Google Chrome uses it's own Javascript engine called V8.

I've been downloading this browser off/on since 2003. What keeps me removing it is the simplest of fixes, yet you refuse to do so. MAKE IT SO I DO NOT HAVE TO USE THE DEFAULT DESKTOP ICONS THAT AVANT PUTS ON MY COMP WITHOUT THE OPTION IN THE RIGHT-CLICK MENU TO CHANGE THEM. BETTER YET, MAKE IT SO THAT THE ICONS DON'T CHANGE AT ALL. This is a pain in the buttocks and keeps me from using what might be a good browser...I many never know. Sad, but true. :thumbdown:
