One of my Mates, whom I told about AVANT, has tested it.
A view Days ago he informed me that he go back to FireFox.

He asked me why I still use AVANT, I told him about the Onlinestorage, which has secured my Nerves after a Newinstall.

Now I know only one Reason to wait a piece of Time for the important Bugfixes:
Pure Loyality.

But like a Relationship between Lovers... Loyality should not been everything.

It's really hard to restart all the good things up to 10-Times a Day...

I hope my poor english describe this fundamental Problems, which occured since one of the last Builts...
It's unbeliveable that theres no Chance that one of the Makers can watch about the Crap what they builded up.

Why they don't compare the old Versions with the last?

I'm a little bit afraid about the next Version... call me a Pessimist, but I see it before:
The next Version have more nice Addons, maybe BlingBling... but more Problems will launch, too.

But I said... I'll wait and test it with You all.

Why not?
Now I'm stick deep enough in it.

Yours,
Capricorn
Sorry for my Spaghetti-English...

only fanboys have realationships with their browsers. jk.

I think it would be great for troubleshooting to be able to load/unload complete features through modules or something.

Thank you very much, Canaris101! That's exactly my opinion with the little difference that I'm loyal no more! The only reason is the fact that I cannot use lots of workarounds each day. I have to work and my customers expect that I do that very quick. Because of this a browser that doesn't work correctly is inacceptable.

In an other thread somebody posted the build in which one of the most annoying bugs started. That's all a user can do! The developer himself now has to check his program. No one else can do this! I hope it happens very soon... because I love Avant... actually!

I hope that a default zoom comes back, because I hate having to change each and very tab after restartng AB from 100% to 125% and then to 150% (directly moving to 150% is blocked most of the time for some unknown reason) , like I had it as a default all those years because of having a high resolution notebook. No even a shortcut exists, and at 100% things are too small.

Also having the "close window" button back at the top would be good. Now I start trying to close windows on the right bottom in other programs.

So actually I don't want anything new. Just the old behaviour back. Except the crashes. That's why I do not downgrade: V.11 at least never lost any open tabs after a crash, like the older ones did now and then.

Also I would like the flash blocker to really catch all the flashes, not just some of them, or even better the mentioned feature of stopping everything that is not in the active window.

Nobody wants AB to feed the cat, but the serious problems (some are still more serious than mine) are drowned by too many jokes.

Which is why this thread is in Discussion, not Help or Bugs--lots of serious stuff going on there.

oh.. sorry, i did not notice this...

in fact, I have mentioned it in other posts,
that is to block some random pictures (e.g. by javascript.nu).
(you know sometimes the pictures can by annoying although they are not ads :( )

When I tried other browsers, what they do is usually,
either by ADblock (you may refer to M×xthon or f×refox),
or by URLfilter (forgotten the name of browser, but they just remove any content starting with that URL),

and I think the later one is easier to make and more efficient
