Avant vs. IE7 Pro

Post by RolandIII » Fri Jun 15, 2007 5:54 pm

I'm curious if any of you here have heard of or taken a look at http://www.ie7pro.com/ This appears to be an excellent add-on for IE7. However Avant is much more complete in the area of development and features. This just came out of beta.

I installed it. It seems pretty nice if you use IE. When I have used IE, I don't use it long enough to appreciate its features.

Yeah, I installed it too. It's decent but there really is no value over a shell like Avant which offers more features and functions. The spell check is nice. I wish Avant had that and paste and Go like Maxthon but I just installed iespell for IE and it is working nicely in Avant.

I too tried it in IE7 - but still there is no comparison with Avant Browser. ieSpell is just the one add-on you really can't do without, I find, apart from a decent download manager, that is.
