rendering engines disappeared on updates

Goo Day,
I had updated My Avant browser running on windows XP and all the rendering engines disappeared.
I then uninstalled, deleted out "avant" in the registry and re-installed to no avail.
Then preceded to install an older version, chrome did not appear in the rendering engine, firefox did come back but once you type an address nothing happens--cursor just stays at address bar. IE compatible does work.
Any thoughts?

I don't know which older version you installed, but chrome for XP is not supported anymore since build 2016 build 8 See: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=34965

Firefox for xp is not supported anymore since build 2017 build 12 i think, but could be earlier also.

So if you still want to use all engines you will have to go back to build 2016 build 7 or maybe even a build before that one. http://avant.it-mate.co.uk/?c=Download& ... /16_Series

I think I even went back to build 2014 or 2015--I went back one version earlier than the last successful version I had

Maybe you should reboot first before installing, since you have edited the register (just a thought)

And just check which build you use now, it's under (help--> about) i think
