Avant Browser + FF engine problem with rending site...

Post by keza » Mon Sep 11, 2017 3:50 pm

Hi,

When I go to http://mailchi.mp/teleport/electric-com ... fad68a2c2f I get the site wrong. It looks like this (picture of it in attachment) but when I go to this site with AB Incognito then I get the site good (picture of it in attachment). And I have searched to solve it for when I'm surfing in the regular AB but I do not find it what makes that I get this site good in Incognito and wrong without Incognito?

Have anyone an idea what this can be?

Kind regards,

Kevin z. from Belgium

Now for me it does not work either. Even http or https does not work but when I go to that link with Incognito it works and I have tried everything here in the regular AB. Everything off in the add-ons because I thought that there was the problem but no, even with FireFox (without AB) it does not work.

Now I just have tried that site in Cent Browser, Vivaldi, and in Opera and I found something. Opera blocks that site and I get it like pic.2 but I says that it blocks something and when I unblock it I get pic.1 so it seems to me that there must be a setting in about:config in FF that is blocking that content because on Opera help-page I read this:
Unblock and allow insecure content

If you are browsing on an encrypted connection (https://), Opera checks to ensure that all parts of the site are encrypted. If Opera detects that any live elements of the page, for example scripts, plugins, or frames, are being served by an open connection (http://), it will block the insecure content. This means parts of the page may not display properly.

Opera advises against allowing insecure content to load into an encrypted connection. The best way to protect your sensitive information is to interact only with secure content. When Opera detects insecure content and blocks it, a warning will appear in the right side of the combined address and search bar.

If you do not care about the security of your connection with the site, you can click the warning to show an Unblock button. This button will allow the blocked content to be loaded onto the page, and the security badge will change to show an open padlock, reminding you that you've allowed insecure content to display on an encrypted connection.
