Hello if you just want to use IE engine uninstall ultimate version don't forget to back up your bookmarks then install IE LITE version because there is no web kit the data is much smaller since the web kit is gone and in my opinion the web kit is what makes it slow less errors as well .Just give it a try you have nothing to lose. If you do try this could you please report back on how it works for you. :)

I use Your Uninstaller to remove my installed programs and then check my files very carefully for leftovers.. I can try again if you like.. the registry was cleaned as well, but not manually checked for leftovers. Any other suggestions?

Can Anderson solve the ybrowser problem and make it stable?

It causes so many problems which cause my system to freeze and crash. A lot of people I know are silently leaving the broswer to Chrome and FireFox. site.

When I check TaskManager, I find there are four ybrowser.exe *32 hoggig about 450,000K of CPU memory. That is way to much comparing to Chrome which only uses 110,000K.

Please let us know what is being done on this issue. Thanks.

The IE-only version (Lite) is the same except that the Gecko and WebKit engines are not included. Otherwise, there is no difference.

As long as you have only IE tabs open in Ultimate (no sites loaded with the Firefox or Chrome engines), memory usage will be the same with Lite.

all right, thank you very much.
this was the very last chance for AVANT 2012 to use. I'm off here.

See you in 2 oder 3 years, maybe then some progress will be made.

when you compare the memory usage, it is more pertinent to open the same pages in different browsers, moreover, you should compare between the same version of IE and IE engine of avant browser regarding their memory consumptions for the same pages. Have you tried the chrome rendering engine of avant browser? Is that better?

Please provide the following information before reporting problems:
Avant Version; System(also point out it is a 32 or 64-bit OS);IE; Memory Size; CPU Speed;
Optional: Firewall; Graphics Card

For the problems hard to replay, could you add me into your MSN or Skype list if you use either of them? The advantage is that you can let us know the situation in the first place by making some screenshots, sharing your screen or explaining the specific problems more clearly when they happen.

Had you tried Tinman57's suggestion of disabling all plugins? Besides, could you exit the firewall and see whether that makes any difference?

There are lots of unmitigated security risks in older versions. Using an earlier version puts your computer at risk.

Open exactly the same pages in chrome, only a total of 110,000k memory is consumed by Chrome? I can't believe that. I feel
Chrome is a bloated memory hog.
Please check what tabs consume the biggest amount of memory in avant browser.Open Windows Task Manager>Processes, Under View menu>Select Columns..., check PID. Return to Avant Browser, hover arrow over the tab and you'll see the PID relating to the process(ybrowser.exe) in Task Manager. If you find that a process consumes too much memory, closing related tabs according to the PID can release the memory taken.
