IE Privacy Keeper and Cookie Monster won't work

I'm using AB 2012 ultimate version with Windows XP HE. Also, for the record, a few months ago I went from IE7 to IE8. (Maybe that's the problem, but I also went from AB 11.7 to 2011 and 2012)

Problem I have is with cookies. IE Privacy Keeper, Cookie Monster Won't find the cookie folder. Only CCleaner will find all the cookies. Then I can delete those on the left side and keep those on the right side of the window.

But IE Privacy Keeper and Cookie Monster won't show a single cookie while CCleaner is showing ten of them.
BTW those two programs where working find before...

Any one with the same problem or using IE Privacy Keeper ou Cookie Monster right now?

Any comments, suggestions.

Den

Hi, install an avant browser USB 11.7 build 46 and check whether the problem persists. avant 2011& 2012 have introduced multi-process. have no idea whether that has something to do with the problem.

Maybe a liitle off topic. You will be amazed at the number of flash cookies adobe flash stores on your machine.

I delete flash cookies with a free app called Flash Cookie Cleaner exe version 1.0.0.0

I taught it was a fair question since my understanding is, that history and cookie folder(s) have been modify with the different versions of AB. At one point in time the two programs mentionned stop working properly. I taught it was related to AB.

Right now I don't really know where are the cookies in version 2012 b7 that I am now using (instead of built 8 )

Den

BTW; thanks for your suggestion about flash cookies.

Are you using the firefox rendering engine? I believe those two tools only clean IE based browsers while ccleaner also supports firefox.

That's why I had a problem: thanks

As I wrote, I went back to AB 2012 built 7 and also found where were the cookies:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp\Cookies

I know now that IE Privacy Keeper works with that version of AB.

Thanks
Den
