IE Version: Version 10
I tried to log in to this website 'https://ess.sobeys.com/irj/portal' and it reports that Sorry, your browser/program is not supported by Web Dynpro! Any help would be appreciated.

Seems it only support Internet Explorer 8, or lower, and Mozilla Firefox 3.6, or lower.
Which version of IE do you use?
Can you login using IE compatible engine?

Hello,

No problem for showing the site if you render it with ie rendering mode.
For switching to ie rendering mode for this page, click the green Go button(a right arrow button with green background) at the right side of the Address Bar to open the drop down menu and choose IE Standards Mode.

Avant Browser 2012 provides a great feature for you setting to show the site permanently with the specific rendering engine. Just go to Tools->Avant Browser Options->Rendering Engine and click the Add button and relate the site to ie rendering mode.

Please provide the following information before reporting problems:
Avant Version; System(also point out it is a 32 or 64-bit OS);IE; Memory Size; CPU Speed;
Optional: Firewall; Graphics Card
