4) Customize rendeirng engine

You can also assign rendering mode for certain webpages. For example, you set firefox rendering mode as default, thus all pages will be opened under firefox mode, but you want always open gmail with IE rendering mode without changing it every time manually. At this time you can assign gmail always open in IE rendering mode.

The steps are as follows:

Tools>Avant Browser Options>Redering engine>Add
① Select HTTP sites and then add the url of gmail.
② Assign rendering engine(IE7,IE8,IE9,firefox)>OK.

Something need to notice:

①Links from the page that has been assigned rendering mode will be opened in the same rendering mode.
For example:If you assign IE8 mode for gmail, open the links from gmail will also be opend in IE8 mode; But if you open the same link from adress bar, it will be opend in the default rendering mode.
② If you change rendering mode of one page, then open the links from this page will be opened in the same rendering mode.
For example, your default rendering mode is firefox, you change the rendering mode of http://www.avantbrowser.com page to IE8, then the links from http://www.avantbrowser.com page will be opened in IE8 mode.
③ when add a website, for example: http://www.avantbrowser.com, you must add http:// prefix. That’s http://www.avantbrowser.com
