So you would say its better than VideoLan Player?
VideoLan did everything WinMediaPlayer would`nt but i`m open to suggestions that AIMP is an improvement

AIMP is the best audio player IMHO. MPC is the best movie/video player IMHO. I use also VLC - it's my secondary video player. Everyone need something else, I need easy to use, intuitive player with many features, good customizable. But this is the AUDIO pleayer only, so let's talk about audio players.

Winamp is dead for me - so many useless features (for me) are added, but some very important basic features are still missing. Now it's even bloatware, limited, shareware, buggy - this is the main reason why I tried AIMP - even the previous beta versions were much more stable that Winamp 5.5. I don't have any reason to use Winamp now.

BTW this is my memory usage test of few audio players:

Mediamonkey: 23 860 K
Winamp: 23 756 K
Foobar2000: 15 800 K
AIMP2: 5 888 K

I side with all those who say AIMP2 is the best audio player around on Windows. It has some very good innovative features that even winamp lacks...Moreover it doesn't hog as much more as WA does.
