That's because you have BBCode turned off.
And are you sure you
licked his post? I do believe that's specifically what I said... even
Doc confirmed it.

And how can I turn it on?
"Enable BBCode by default" is set to YES, but while posting a reply BBCode is OFF.
EDIT: Looks like a rights issue here in the announcemets subforum.
EDIT2: Everthing fine now.

Thanks DrDrrae for the migration and especially for the new structure. I like it a lot (especially the subfolders). The design is great too, thanks statm1.
P.S. Looks like BBCode is still not working and Signature is not attached (both selected in User Profile).

Sorry about that. I'm working on the permissions issue right now.
robC, that's because you are a moderator and the permissions you have are above normal registered users. The permissions were set wrong for registered users but are set right for the various staff positions.

As I type this it says at the bottom left that BBCode is ON.
(Still can't get posts since last visit)
EDIT: Quote is working now, thanks!
EDIT: and it seems a lot faster now.

The server speed should have been increased dramatically but there are still backend upgrades to do. Mainly, upgrading MySQL, which so happen tonight. The upgrade should bring more speed increases and the forum should be running faster than before. Thanks for all your patience as we experience some pains during the upgrade to phpBB3.

Doc's link every time you visit, you can click the
View new posts link in the upper right corner of the screen, below the current time.

That's what I'm using but it gives all new posts back to Mon Jul 30, 2007 8:33 and not all new posts since I last visited.
I noticed because normally I only have a few posts displayed but now I get 2 pages of posts, even if I shut the browser and open it again after 2 minutes.
I'm pretty sure something's working differently, I can't understand why nobody else has noticed it.
That's what I'm using too, but it gives me all new posts back to Mon Jul 30, 2007 9:58 [exactly 53 posts] and not only new posts since I last visited. I can confirm.

Even
Mark forums read didn't help me.
PS: Sorry for this, I should append text above to my previous post and then delete this message, but I cannot delete my own post, so I left both posts as they are.

I believe it counts all posts since you last logged in, but I'm not sure. Could you try logging out then back in.

Yes, that has certainly made a difference. But I never had to log out before.

I'm trying to find the sticky thread about the search setting strings, therefor I'm using "Google" as string in the board search, but it doesn't work:
The following words in your search query were ignored: google.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.
You should remove "Google" from the ignore list.

No, it's because the search index hasn't been created yet.
