Re: Why continue with Avant with IE8?

Along with the tabs at the bottom, I love the next and previous tab buttons and the compact view gives me so much more page real estate.

Re: Unofficial Orca Browser Portable Version

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the purpose of a USB version of any browser? I understand portability but are there any other advantages or disadvantages?

Re: Memory access error

OK, I did all 3 (in about:config) and the browser would never open past the start-up page. Tried to open an additional 10 pages and it froze. Took out the last entry (malware), that one scared me anyway. Now things seem to be running smoothly on beta 3 RC3. Thanks, I'll report back after a bit more ...

Re: Memory access error

Here is my thread on the same issue:

http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic ... 75&t=25002

I went back and installed (in a different directory) Beta 3 (pre-RC) (last in this list) and it works fine

Re: Orca Memory Error

Just went back and downloaded and installed beta 3 (original) works fine after 30 minutes of surfing the same sites, no crash Just saw this post - do you mean RC3? Anyway - glad you found a solution. No, the Beta 3 prior to any RC's. Last one from here: http://avant.it-mate.co.uk/?c=Download&f=Orca...

Flash Player Update Not Working

As of Thursday, This is what I get when I go to youtube.com. "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." Using 11.7.15 SR1. Went out and did the upgrade of the Shockwave and Flash players. Checked all my IE and Avant settings...

Re: Orca!!!!!

ROBOFROM DOES NOT WORK WITH ORCA!!!!

There are several threads on this issue already. It is a RoboForm issue, not an orca issue. Uninstall as several above have mentioned including the area Dr Drea points to. Re-install and DO NOT try to load up RoBo. Everything will work wonderfully.
