Liquid Text wrapping

I've just tried Firefox:  No I won't go for it even if text size feature is just fantastic. Liquid text wrapping some are calling this system? That is a must in AB. :D As this date, I've installed Easy Read; very very nice program but the wrapping is not always perfect with a mix of picture & ...

Text Size (again?)

Am I the only one with a problem on View/Text Size ? (AB11B25) Just can't change anything there. From the largest to the smallest setting, no change in the size of the text. CTRL+ doesn't work either. Could it be a problem related not to AB but to some settings in XP or IE? Den Using XP HE. BTW AB11...

Re: Running two versions

If I understand well, I'm a lucky guy asking this question at this precise moment where settings are going from "Avant Browser" directory for version 10 to "Avant Profiles" for version 11. So on the next update, let's say build 6 of version 11, it won't be possible to keep build 5 and install build ...

Avant Browser 10 is using the "Avant Browser" directory while 11 is using "Avant Profiles".
 Sorry

That's marvellous. I will be able to keep the old version while testing the new version.

Your help is very appreciated.

Thanks for the tip; but I am still a bit worried about the settings in "Documents and Settings"; maybe someone will an opinion on that.

Thanks again for your information

Running two versions

I have version 10.2 build 52 installed. Is it possible to install the new version 11.0 build 5 in an other directory and run both versions on the same computer without problems.

Searching History

When searching history in IE6, the search is on the URL but also inside each web page. This is a *very* usefull feature. Remembering just a single word in a web page will do the trick to find the web page and also the URL. Den Added to the Master Request/Suggestion List as Search History page . - ho...

History search bug

This topic (bug) has been around since Oct 27, 2004.

Searching history will apply only to the URL and not the entire web page as we can do in IE.

Any opinion on the reason this bug is still around?

Are you having the same troubles as found in this thread ? No it's not the same problem. As I wrote, searching (only with IE) for the word "hornaka" without quotes in the history gives me all the web pages where this partial word can be found in my history. But trying the same thing with AB, ...

Searching History not working - What's wrong?

I would like to find a web page in the history by searching a word I remember on that web page;

I've just tried it with IE and it's working!

But in AB nothing appends; it's like this feature is dead.

Your help would be appreciated

I wrote that I had remote a few programs...
it looks like that yenc is not the troublemaker.

The new version 3.0 of SpywareBlaster seems to cause this problem with the mouse gesture.

Had to remove SpywareBlaster this morning to restore mouse gesture.

Just hope this time it's for real

Anyone with the same problem?

After removing yen32 everything was back to normal with AB

History Search

What am I doing wrong?
I open the history window and try searching for a word in a web page I visited but I get no result.

On the other hand if I open IE and try the same search it's working.

I'm lost; just don't know what's wrong.
