You can find some free proxies on Google by searching for 'free proxy'. Just enter that URL into the proxy settings and you are good to go, most of the time that is.

Yeah, all that eyecandy (that runs surprisingly smooth, BTW) makes it ultra fun to use! :D

You might want to look at a Mac mini. It starts at $499 and (at least the 1.42GHz model) it runs pretty good.

Well, I guess people like it because there are tons of people they know who go there..

Their heavy coding sometimes crashes Safari, though. Actually.. that could be because of the ability to put some custom HTML into the page.

(Yes, I'm on Safari. I bought a Powerbook and I love it.)
