Re: Weird url when clicking link in email
Those strings are base64 encoded orders sent to Avant. I've decoded one, it says: " 2 53396 1 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/02/bill-mahers-new-rule-for-gop-george-w-bush_n_1850250.html s_sess=%20s_cc%3Dtrue%3B%20s_sq%3D%3B; path=/; domain=.huffingtonpost.com; " (You can use my multitool to d...

Re: NoChrome (1.0)[15/05/2012] Removes chrome advert from go
Google is changing their advert to a banner, NoChrome has been updated to deal with this new feature. To test it out try: https://encrypted.google.com/ This new version doesn't require the user to manually enter their most used top level domain. So it should just work out of the box. This much effor...

Re: Unable to install plugin via the aba:// protocol.
Once it's installed, the Multitool add-on works fine with all three engines. Well it seems to work somewhat in IE, but it's only appearing correctly in Firefox, and it sort of looks fine in Chrome too. Very nice update, sulpherdragon. I really like the new features. Thanks, this version went throug...

Re: Unable to install plugin via the aba:// protocol.
I think its definitely, a bug. If it weren't, then it should not say its installing a plugin at all. I think this is just a small oversight when AB became a tri-engine browser. Isn't the aba add-ons designed for IE egnine only? No, the plugins can work with FF and Chrome as long as the javascript is...

Unable to install plugin via the aba:// protocol.
I've recently made a large update to a plugin of mine. I've posted it here, but it wont install automatically like all the others. http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=28523&p=185982#p185982 I can only assume it's due to the size of the plugin, its now 800KB. Can anyone else try this o...

Re: Occasional error: Something went wrong with this webpage
Since I've upgraded my PC to an SSD, I haven't seen this error occur yet. It's been two weeks, whatever the issue is it's related to stalling.

Re: Occasional error: Something went wrong with this webpage
How many times does this happen per day? Anywhere from 1 to 6 times a day. What's your firewall? I don't have one. Does it only tend to appear on Youtube? No, I tend to notice it when I boot up my machine and start everything up. The first few pages can crash within the first minute of browsing, in...

Re: Occasional error: Something went wrong with this webpage
So,the purple screen problem just happens under IE rendering engine and no problem under firefox and chrome rendering engines? I get this problem on the Firefox engine regularly, I don't use any other engine. I have 8gb of ram, of which even 4gb is rarely ever used. My graphics card and drivers are...

Re: Youtube HTML5 Remover (1.0) for firefox engine-[05/05/20
Thanks Jasmine for fixing the title. Thanks Crazy_John for explaining the concept, in fact, the plugin opens the /html5 page in a hidden window and clicks the "Leave the HTML5 Trial" button, then refreshes the page. The interactions between the pages/windows are almost certainly going to be differen...

NoChrome (2.0)[29/08/2012] Removes Chrome advert from Google
I've written a small addon to remove the Google Chrome advert on the google.com page when using the Firefox rendering engine. I use Adblock, but without some effort, you cannot remove divs like this. http://i.imgur.com/1KrTT.png This code simply calls the existing function on the google page that cl...

Re: Youtube HTML5 Remover (1.0)-[05/05/2012]
Hi CrazyJohn, This plugin wasn't intended for any renderer other than firefox. Personally I only use firefox and I only get lag with HTML5 in the firefox renderer. If you like, I can investigate into a chrome version of the plugin. Thanks for the info on the about:config settings, I dont want to dis...

Youtube HTML5 Remover (1.0) for firefox engine-[05/05/2012]
Youtube HTML5 Remover V1.0 This plugin checks to see if you are opted in to Youtube's html5 trial or not. I find the HTML5 video player is laggy and bad for various reasons, when I opt out of the trial and clear my cookies, it opts me back in! This plugin will run once everytime Youtube decides to ...

Re: Multitool (0.3)-[26/10/2010]
It should work no problem but you might want to take out the large md5 code inside it.
Should be ok in greasemonkey, but you will need to remove stuff to get it to work in a bookmarklet.

Re: [Request] Script button for 'Save Current Page as Image'
Hi Victor, hmm that's odd... It should work. Double check you have the path correct. It also only works in Avant, not Orca. Clicking on the addon wont do anything because Avant needs to be in focus for the commands to do anything, you don't need to have AutoHotKey installed either. I will examine th...

Re: [Request] Script button for 'Save Current Page as Image'
Yeah, but you're going to have to trust an executable to press them. I've made the script with AutoHotKey. Just throw the executable into a folder and point a command addon to it. This wont work in Orca - those shortcuts don't exist. Throw the SCA.exe into your windows folder. And embed the addon in...
