Re: Browser User Information
Currently, we estimate that your browser has a fingerprint that conveys at least 18.03 bits of identifying information. I think the system fonts field contributes a bit to this "fingerprint". Adobe Caslon Pro Bold, Adobe Caslon Pro, Adobe Fangsong Std R, Adobe Heiti Std R, Adobe Kaiti Std R, Adobe ...

Re: Keep or Remove RSS Feature?
I don't really use RSS at all, but it seems like it would fit fine as an addon, if the addon system were improved.

Mouseover DOM Inspector
Thanks sulpherdragon for the icon . This script was created by Steve from slayeroffice.com , and is distributed as is. I've decided to package it into a small Avant Browser addon and share, due to the usefulness of this addon. It has helped prevent many headaches in a couple recent projects. This is...

Re: Forum Background [Avant Browser skin]
There are 2 problems with changing to a fixed background, one the headers background which blends in with the background would continue to scroll and two the point of this style is to look seamless between the main site and the board and making the background fixed would hurt the seamlessness. I to...

Re: Forum Background [Avant Browser skin]
I realized you MIGHT need this script instead, for any other browser:
...depending on how the browser is forced to run itdocument.onload=function(){if (location.host == 'forum.avantbrowser.com') document.body.style.backgroundAttachment='fixed';}

Re: Memory leak
Sorry to reply to this old topic, but this memory leak is pretty much old news. Well, I'm not sure if it's THIS memory leak, or not. But there's been a leak since the beginning of version 11. The problem is that it's extremely hard to track what is causing it. It's seemingly randomly occuring on dif...

got a Flash update today, and now this is happening everytime I load youtube.com. I'll do the work around, but I think this shows that it's a problem with Flash.

Re: Hi all!
I do agree with you that the performance of your computer should reflect what you are into, however if you like to code with C++... your computer will never be too fast. As for Photoshop/Dreamweaver, I sure feel sorry for anyone using anything less than a dual core, considering the start up speed. A...

I'm with computers since 15 years old and now i'm 35 years old. I'm a computer technician (I do work on this) and also a coder (VB...

Let me be the first to say...
Merry Christmas, and happy Hanukkah... (no offense) I actually don't know much about Hanukkah, I think it's over... not sure On a side note, it is recently come to my attention that some people actually get offended by "happy holidays", because it's like saying "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Hanukkah"...

So there's probably another reason why you had a not so pleasent experience: You're a noob :lol: :lol: This is actually a very valid argument, though in a harsh way. (not being sarcastic) Either that or you went to college, and let some professor brainwash you into believing some nonsense about "th...
