Yes, but it doesn't say Maxthon, Mozilla, etc are like it does in your post. Have they fixed it, or did you paste your post from somewhere else?

I've been finding Avant sometimes hangs when browsing ThemesXP. I'm guessing it's due to the number of pop-ups and inline ads it's blocking while I browse (a lot)?

Icons you thought depicted something else

For example, for months I've been using Windows XP (former Windows 2000 user) and I've always thought the work online/offline icon was of a pipe connected to a small storm cloud. I was confused as to why MS would depict a computer as a storm cloud, but recently I've realized it's actually a three di...

Avast has never detected a virus in Avant installers. In fact the only virus I've seen lately was a trojan ( Win32:Trojano-552 ) hiding in the No-IP DUC (DNS update client) installer in my downloads folder, which I downloaded from C|Net. It didn't seem likely that a service so many people use would ...

I like the way you think, biscuit. Personally, I wouldn't join the "Google intends to add personal data from Gmail and Google Desktop to their public databases" team until I get solid proof of such, instead of believing third parties that have heard Google will do this. Especially considering it wou...

. . . I tried MyIE2 for a while (earlier this year), but it seemed a little rough around the edges. Actually, GreenBrowser reminds me of MyIE2. Now I'm trying out both Avant and Maxthon and both seem pretty nice and have their pros and cons. I'm just trying to determine which has the least amount o...

Yea. Same here, except it's my ladyfriend who happens to be prone to it (leaning on desk, elbow pressing Ctrl accidentally while scrolling, without thinking it'd act as a modifier to the scroll feature). Thing is, "Text Size" doesn't affect CSS implementation (only barebones pages, and pages that us...

I've always disliked that as well.
I usually use LeechGet though, which saves directly to the download folder as filename.ext.Leechget until the download finishes, at which time it renames the file to filename.ext. This allows resuming and the ability to delete partially downloaded files easily :)

I'd trust it. The index of searchable information created by Desktop Search is stored on your own computer. What information does Google receive? By default, Google Desktop Search collects a limited amount of non-personal information from your computer and sends it to Google. This includes summary i...

It'd be great to have this, but preferable only by holding Shift or Ctrl while resizing toolbars (or to not have the behaviour while holding Shift or Ctrl, so toolbars only fold/collapse when you want them to).
