In the meantime, you could subscribe & direct your DNS entries to http://www.opendns.com.

This service offers typo correction amongst it's other services as well as it's core service of being an independant DNS server.

Re: SARA, drop down menus dont drop down!

Agent Skull, does your Yahoo Calendar page look something like this? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v376/PaulWKnight/Picture1-2.jpg If not, it looks like Yahoo! is beta testing another 'upgrade' like it has with Mail and My Yahoo. You might want to check your computer to make sure that Java & Fla...

Re: 9/11---6years later--Where where you?

I was in the Christian part of Cyprus (i.e the part not occupied by Turkey) at the time with my dear departed mother. We had just came back from a trip to the Troodos mountains, stopped off at a grocers store in a little village on our way back to the villa that our friends mother had lent us for a ...

P.S. If you have an issue with a member of the Avant Staff, please feel free to PM another staff member concerning the the issue rather than making it public. 99% of the time, we are level headed folks, and will attempt to address the matter to everyones satisfaction, making the argument public work...

Or as I suggested in the staff forums a while back, not accepting registrations from anyone/thing which enters any optional information during the registration process, as many phpBB2 boards do.

Most of the spam that I moved has information there.

Until Anderson releases a version of AB which registers itself as a Default Program in Vista, I'm afraid Avant is never going to play well on the new OS.

I believe that the problem lies in that Avant Browser does not register itself in Vista's Default Program list.

And no, associating the .url extension with Avant Browser does not work either.

I am confirming this bug, as a member of another forum has reported this issue, and I have recreated it myself. It appears that AB needs administrator access even for it to plant cookies in the system, but cannot alter Vista's file handling to open AB. Firefox does not present this issue for me eith...

Based on the thread title alone, it is no wonder that Avant & Opera are almost the same, as Avant Browser started it's life as IEOpera, a Trident shell with features mimicking the Opera version of the time.

No-one is lying, Avant Browser's claim on the homepage was made long, long before Monday.

I'm sure that the author has much more on his hands to bother changing the website just because Apple has released an unfinished product on the PC world.
