According to wikipedia Apple's WebKit javascript layout engine has over 40 percent of market share, Ahead of both Firefox Gecko engine and IE Trident. Xp safari version 4.0.5(531.22.7) is used here as one of browsers on this machine. Would not leave home without it(just a saying) Xp Safari version 5...

I used www.grc.com to probe my firewall; Grc reported my firewall
was stealt, that is no reply I believe. I still have some fond memories
of Comodo, since it was my first firewall I downloaded.

convert pdf eBook?

I have a pdf Ebook on desktop(foxit reader).

Is there a way to convert this pdf to another format say in Word Pad,
or maybe ABiWorld Processor which I have also.

Just downloaded it and starting to google this.

Changing zoom etc with a pdf not my cup of tea, vision problems.

I don't know. In the past I have closed FF. And then reopened it

in maybe 6-7 seconds later, and it would tell FF is still runing. I have
not noticed that again in maybe a year.

timeing of reopening is just a guess.

Might install uphClean for XP. It helps to insure that users registry
hive is unloaded.

It is on my machine. From microsoft I might add.

In above script save in all files in notepad with html extension, can save just about anywhere, desktop would be ok

remember javascript is case senistive ALERT, alert, ALert, are not the
same in javascript

Avast is the way to go. So good in fact I still use Avast version 4.8

it up dates daily and will and does stop me visiting sites from time to
time.

For some reason version 6, did not want to work on my machine, I
do get the nag(couple years maybe) but ignore it. Thats how good
it is.
