PeerGuardian 2

Not really an error but I wonder if anyone knows why this forum website, or some element embedded in it, appears to be on the PG2 http block list. I have to turn off "Block HTTP" when I come here.

Torrent Toolbar

If anyone is interested in the Torrent network then this is a must:

http://www.torrent-search-bar.com/

I got used to it in Firefox but didn't realise until today that you can install it for IE and it then seems to work fine in Avant.

I haven't even seen Vista yet but it occurs to me that in XP most people are probably running Avant as an administrator so surely doing the same in Vista is no worse.

This is definitely a major plus for Firefox users. Perhaps it can be added to Anderson's list to see if such code can be added to Avant. It's not only "informational", it's sometimes absolutlely vital to know what or who is running on what web page. I agree completely. It should definitely be added...

Haven't figured out why memory usage keeps increasing with AVANT (and Maxthon). Used to be about 30ks of VM now hangs around 70. Maxthon is doing the same. Firefox is pretty steady but still above those levels. I had Firefox showing 130K on a regular basis. One thing I do miss is the NoScript addon...

Re: I've been unfaithful with Firefox

Hi Steve. Good to be back with a decent browser. Roderick, there are a number of Firefox/Moxilla related forums but I found the whole community to be somewhat fragmented and complex. The fact that there are so many diverse addons written by so many different people probably contributes to that. I ba...

Torrent Search

Has anyone come across anything like the Firefox Torrent-Search Toolbar addon that would work with Avant?

I've been unfaithful with Firefox

Hi folks. Long time not here. I thought I'd give Firefox a go, and just to make sure I gave it a fair chance to show it's credentials, I used it for quite a few months. But now I'm back with Avant. I cannot believe how much faster, user friendly and more stable it is than the Moxilla offering. I hav...

Re: IE plugins

Hi Denny. No I'm not talking about the toolbar, I mean the entries in the Tools/Avant Browser/Addons/IE Plugins. After using Avant 11 for a while, the entries there dissappear along with the actions that perform when selected. So, for example Roboform stops working.

Re: IE plugins

They keep disappearing. I've just realised it's why Roboform stops working after a while. Again, if I re-install Avant they are all back and selectable and Roboform works again.
Anyone else have this problem?

IE plugins

When I first install version 11.0 FP there are a number of entries in Add ons/IE Plugins. After a while of using Avant the entire list dissappears. If I re-install Avant they are back, only to go again. Weird. Unfortunately I can't see anything particular to relate as a cause. It appears to be rando...
