tab key

Hi:
The tab key does go through the links. However it also goes through the form elements (eg combo boxes, text boxes, etc). Opera has managed to assign different navigational procedures for form elements (arrow keys) and links (A and Q)..which makes it easier to just go through the links.

a few opera features

Hi: I have been a strong and long-time avantbrowser user. Sometimes, I need another browser instance - due to use of proxies in one,..and so I tried Opera. Its quite good in speed, etc...but misses a lot of what avant offers. Anyways, to the point - I think they have couple of very nice features: FA...

Any luck with this fix?

Hi:
Having bought a new laptop with higher resolution (wide-screen), I am facing the same problem with the address bar. Could be a potential avant-quiting-reason!

All of you are in this form to place requests! How can you expect one programmer to do all that!!!!...

lets get a survey

why doesn't someone start a poll / survey to find out how many would like the plug-in feature - AND - how many are enthusiastic to develop plugins. The flexibility provided by plug-in will definately put AvantBrowser in the t op - and make it the most used browser. And I am sure Anderson will be eve...

plugins is not equal to open source

http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic.php?t=168 Sara: I did have a look at this forum...and also realize that Anderson is quite right in 'protecting' his work. But, I am NOT suggesting open-source. What I am suggesting is something - on the lines of plugin. Lot of softwares allows plugins without...

Component based approach

Hi: I have been an avid user of Avant for a long time now. The amount of requests to add new modifications never cease, which is not all that bad since everyone has various needs. However - adding extensions for the whole browser imposes on a great risk of integration with the rest of the components...

thanks

ALIASES? Yes - that's what I have done now. But thats not quite the same as the vivisimo toolbar, i.e if I do a search on vivisimo then it does not bring up the word links on the toolbar (like google toolbar). And yes, you are right that its still not fully mature (it could not handle the traffic fr...

Re: New Features to implement next!

Hi: I have used quite a few browsers out there incld NetCaptor, Opera, etc....and AVANT is the best! There are only two features which I would like to request and which I am sure will be very useful for everyone: [1] ALIASES (propably the 105th person to vote on this). Re: KEEP VOTING!!! (I LIED ABOUT THE LOCK DATE ;D

i think the most important feature needed now is address bar aliasing . This feature available in net captor is a super life saver...can make visiting sites and searching them a lot easier. ALSO - FAST FORWARD of Opera. This allows one to go to the "predicted" next page of the current page. Imaging ...
