Re: Add to last Favorite folder button

I agree with wonderboy. I really would like it if Avant would remember the last bookmark folder you saved to when you go to create another bookmark. It is very much an inconvenience when saving several pages to the same folder. In the meantime, as a workaround, have you considered leaving the tabs t...

Re: Shortcut key for new blank window

I realized that I used a program to create a system command to create a blank window. That is why it did not work for you guys. This is what you can do to create a blank window... Open a blank window. Create a shortcut on your desktop to the blank window. (I named it 'blank window'). Cut and paste t...

I don't have that option either ....
I don't think you understood when I said Avant Options...New Window.

It is the same as when ftboomer said Avavt Options-->New Window.

Just to be clear: Under 'Tools', go to 'Avant Browser Options', then 'New Window' is listed under "Category".

Re: [Release] Make links open in a new tab

Mine always open in a new tab with left click.. It's under options. Works or me everytime. Avavt Options-->New Window. The only options under Avant Options...New Window are: Specifying the default action for the 'New' button and 'Ctrl+N' to open a new window for: blank page, current page, and home ...

[Release] Make links open in a new tab

First, I want to say I know all you have to do is enable middle click option and use that to open links in a new tab. That works fine unless you don't have a middle button on your mouse or are using a laptop (like me). You can make all links open in a new tab by going to Tools...Avant Browser Option...

Re: Shortcut key for new blank window

You can add a button to the Add-ons bar by going to Tools...Avant Browser Options...Add-Ons...Add-Ons. Then click add, give it a name, select an icon to identify it, make sure for "Type" that 'Command Button' is selected, then paste the text below into the 'Content' field: start about:blank If you d...

Re: [Release] Search Webpage Button (Similar to 'Ctrl' +

For right now, don't worry about it. Actually, I believe I had the same issue with my other upload. Very disappointing after all this time that it still is not corrected. If you only uploaded one (Tab & Title bar scroll), it's been approved. Exactly what I was saying - anything put in the uploads n...

Re: [Release] Search Webpage Button (Similar to 'Ctrl' +

Okay, so I am an idiot. At least a partial one. I was only looking in the 'Helper Programs' section (where I placed my one post) and not looking elsewhere. I am not sure what you mean when you say "I do it like this because I don't like doing it like this", but it seems I am putting scripts in the r...

Re: [Release] Search Webpage Button (Similar to 'Ctrl' +

hornakapopolis: Yes, I mean you search the current page/tab you are on. Yes, it is the same as having the 'Find' button on the search bar. I did not even know that was there since I don't use the search bar. I still won't use it because I don't want another bar taking up space. Also, the difference ...

Re: Ctrl+F

Hello,

I posted a script here that allows you to search the current webpage like 'Ctrl + F' does.

[Release] Search Webpage Button (Similar to 'Ctrl' + 'F')

Below is a script that will ask you what you want to search for and then it will search the current website for it. It acts very similar to 'Control' + 'F'. To add this script go to Tools...Avant Browser Options...Add-Ons...Add-Ons. Then click add, give it a name, make sure for "Type" that 'Script B...

Re: Address Bar

First, make sure the toolbars are not locked (in the 'View' menu). Although, from your screen shot I can see the dash marks, so I am sure your toolbars are not locked. Then, place your cursor over the vertical dash marks located at the far left of the address bar and click and drag it over to next t...

I get the same thing on http://www.ZipZoomFly.com along with several others (although I have not kept track of them). Since I have had this issue with other websites, I think the issue is with Avant and not the websites. I am using 11 v.45, but I know this was happening with v. 43. Can anyone else c...

[Release] Email Current Website Link with Press of a Button

You can create a button that will create a new mail message and will include in the body of the message the link to the website you are currently on. Re: how to save rss-feeds on my local drive??

For RSS feeds, I use Juice. I am a diehard fan of Avant, but I think the RSS feature is lacking. For that matter, so is any other RSS feeder I have come across.
