Re: Many crashes following RC3 update?

I can't even get RC3 to load the first page. It either just hangs or crashes. After numerous attempts at starting and even removing (and cleaning the registry of orca entries) & reinstalling Orca RC3 to see if that would work, I ended up just removing RC3 & reinstalling RC2 which still worked fine w...

Re: Orca 1.1 alpha 3

Just remember that this is a pre-beta build for our testing. When Anderson releases a beta version it will even be better & the final release well can you say Nirvana? If he can fix the AdBlocker then that would be great as that has been my only gripe about the new Orca because other than that it i...

I'm using Orca as my browser of choice however, I still use Avant when I want to use "Microsoft Update" as it won't work without an IE based browser.

If you guys have a scroll mouse, why don't you just press the "ctrl" key and use your mouse scroll wheel to enlarge or reduce the text size.

Re: cant block google ads

even though I have added http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/* *pagead2.googlesyndication.com* under block list it still shows google ads I had this problem when using Avant. Try adding pagead2.googlesyndication.com to your Hosts file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc. You may have to close the b...

I guess that this doesn't work in Orca because it is the IE Google toolbar. I went on the Google toolbar website and found out that there is a Google toolbar for Firefox that I thought may work for Orca. I had to use Firefox to download it as it wouldn't download to Orca. It installed fine to Firefo...

After selecting this it will open an IE window to display the results but not in Orca. The Google Toolbar search works fi...

Whilst I agree with you that this FireFox feature would be good in Orca/Avant, I cannot see what the big deal is about the non-exiting from the current feature by way of the "Esc" key. How hard is it to move your mouse pointer to the "Cancel" button and clicking the left mouse button? Cheers, http:/...

My interest is that I was (and still am) really impressed with Avant. It looks like Dr. Orca is almost exactly the same except with greater security by use of the Gecko engine. I've tried Firefox but didn't like it after using Avant. As Dr. Orca uses the same base program but runs the same as Avant,...

Another thing that is annoying me is that when I open up my routers homepage, the routers username & password box opens like normal but the problem is that after typing in the username I press the "Tab" button to move the cursor to the password section & it stays in the Username part. I have to phys...

Re: Misc. Bugs

I've been testing Dr. Orca v.1 Beta 001 since I read it being mentioned on the K-meleon forums today. I find it to be an impressive browser and would like to see it developed further. After using it a few times I experienced a few bugs. First, whenever the browser asks me to remember a password, it...

There can be a problem when "giving the space back". This can ruin the layout of the page. Unless you mean to keep the layout, not condense the different elements, but just get rid of the white box and keep the background color. Yes, this can be a problem. I have seen this happen to certain website...

"Ads by Google" are in iFrame And Avant's ADs blocker isn't capable to block iFrame That was requested somewhere in "Avant Browser Requests" forum So the HOSTS file comes in handy until Anderson succeeds in dealing with iFrames  Those ads must be in my hosts list, then, since I'm not seeing t...
